The main " Tenses " in English

Hello everyone ! I wanna share a little knowledge about English to you. The lesson is about " Tense ". Do you know some tenses in English ??? Well, if you don't know maybe this can help you. There are five main tenses that I know. If you want to know, just read this ^^
There are five main tenses, and those are the simple one. There are :

1. Simple Present Tense

This is the first main tense, and It's the easiest. This tense is used to tell about your daily activity / habit. Well, there are the formulas too. These are the formulas :
(+) a. S + V1 + O + K
      b. S + V s/es + O + K

(-) a. S + do not / don't + V1 + O + K
     b. S + does not / doesn't + V1 + O + K

(?) a. Do + S + V1 + O + K ?
     b. Does + S + V1 + O + K ?

*S = subject        O = object       K = place/time       V = verb

Well, there are so many formulas in Simple Present Tense, but It's really easy if you have known it.
Ex. : (+) They play basketball at basketball field
(-)  They don't play basketball at basketball field
(?)  Do they play basketball at basketball field ?

Yeah, that's all about Simple Present Tense, and for the auxiliary "Do" is for AYUDEWI (I, You, They, We) and for the auxiliary "Does" is for (He, She, It). Now next, we'll discuss the second tense :

2. Simple Past Tense
And this is the second main tense that you have to know. This tense is used to tell your activity or experience in the past time. These are the formulas :
(+) S + V2 + O + K
(-)  S + did not / didn't + V1 + O + K
(?)  Did + S + V1 + O + K ?

Well, the formulas aren't as many as Simple Present Tense 's formulas, but you have to learn about Verb 2 (V2) too.
Ex. : (+) He studied last night
(-)  He didn't study last night
(?)  Did He study last night ?

Well, I can't explain it clearly about it. Sorry about that  :(
That's all that I can tell you about Simple Past Tense, now for the third tense :

3. Simple Future Tense
This is the third main tense. This tense is used to tell your will / what you want to do in the future. Well, these are the formulas :
(+) a. S + will + V1 + O + K
      b. S + to be (am, are, is) + going to + V1 + O + K

(-)  a. S + will not / won't + V1 + O + K
      b. S + to be (am, are, is) + not + going to + V1 + O + K

(?)  a. Will + S + V1 + O + K ?
      b.  To be (am, are, is) + S + going to + V1 + O + K ?

Well, in the Simple Future Tense, It always use "Verb 1".
Ex. : (+) a. We will go to school tomorrow
              b. We are going to go to school tomorrow

(-)  a. We won't go to school tomorrow
              b. We are not going to go to school tomorrow

(?)  a. Will we go to school tomorrow ?
              b. Are we going to go to school tomorrow ?

That's all about Simple Future Tense, easy right ? now we'll discuss about the fourth tense.

4. Present Continuous Tense
This is the fourth main tense that I know. Hmmm, this tense is used to tell your acitvity and usually you use this tense when you're doing that. These is the formulas :
(+)  S +  to be (am, are, is) + V1 + ing + O + K
(-)   S + to be (am, are, is) + not + V1 + ing + O + K
(?)   To be (am, are, is) + S + V1 + ing + O + K ?

Well, It's simple and It always uses "Verb 1" like Simple Future Tense. But here, we will add "ing" after the "Verb 1"
Ex. : (+) I am eating meatball now
(-)  I am not eating meatball now
        (?)  Am I eating meatball now ?

I think this tense is just like Simple Present Tense because The formulas are almost same.
Next, the last main tense :

5. Present Perfect Tense

This is the last main tense that I know. This tense is used to tell about the activity that you have done. Well, these are the formulas :
(+)  a. S + have + V3 + O + K
       b. S + has + V3 + O + K

(-)   a. S + have not / haven't + V3 + O + K
       b. S + has not / hasn't + V3 + O + K

(?)   a. Have + S + V3 + O + K ?
       b. Has + S + V3 + O + K ?

Well, Present Perfect Tense isn't like others. It's harder than others. So, you have to study hard about this.
Ex. : (+)  a. You have bought the book in the bookstore
               b. She has bought the book in the bookstore

(-)   a. You haven't bought the book in the bookstore
               b. She hasn't bought the book in the bookstore

(?)   a. Have you bought the book in the bookstore ?
               b. Has she bought the book in the bookstore ?

Hmmm, that's all that I know about Present Perfect Tense.

Yeah, that's all that I can share to you about "Tense". And I make this by myself, so sorry if there are some mistakes in my English because I'm learning too  :)
So, Do you want to learn English more ? because if you have liked English, It makes you easier to learn it ^^
